The Eye Clinic Optical Department was involved in the Navajoland optical project.  The first clinical prescription glasses screening and distribution effort to provide prescription eyewear to children in the Utah Navajoland region.

The Eye Clinic donated some equipment (auto refractor) as well as frames.  We also processed over 175 pairs of glasses for the children that have been affected with bad vision in the Utah Navajoland schools.  We were delighted to be a part of this project as it helped so many children reach their optimal vision and aptitude potential.

Since the rewards for helping someone else were so great in 2008, we chose to participate again in November 2009. In this years efforts we helped another 100 children in the
Utah Navajoland region to correct their vision with glasses
